Two of my paintings are in Italy now.
It is amazing that my name is mentioned in the same show as Matthew Barney.

THE DREAM MERCHANT SHOW
A Colossal of Unusual and Visionary Art



The show of unusual and visionary art (second edition) this year is a tribute to the world of an imaginary collective and the greatest dreamer of all times, William Shakespeare, who said that “men are made of the same substance as dreams”.
And so the curator (whose role in the show is the director) has made the casting , selecting dreamers for the first and second episodes of this extraordinary exhibition-colossal.
“Do you want to be my dreamer?” is a question that started a sort of sensorial network between the cast and the director. (Superstar Cameos , young talented performer) united and diverse in the ritualistic interventions in the two cinematographic parts.
The art gallery changed into a film set , decorated with “cult objects” , i.e. the artworks of the participants.
The entire colossal features two live actions created by two performers, four cameos (set designers, directors, artists) and the cast of the dreamers from the first and second episodes.

Eugenio Recuenco (Spain 1970) is showing two videos from 2008, “Babylon Circus ” and “En medio de la nada”, an artist from Madrid , he loves the surreal , the nomadic world of the circus and theatre of the 30’s.
